I have been teaching since 1995 and teaching at Yellow Springs High School since 2001. Teaching is my passion, second only to mothering. In many ways the two are the same since they both involve the unconditional love for children and the honor of facilitating them on their journeys.
I currently teach English Ten focusing on American Literature, Senior English focusing on contemporary Literature and our sense of place in society, and Advanced Placement Literature and Composition. I am also the Thespian Drama Club.
I am also an Associate Professor at McGregor of Antioch University where I provide writing support and teach Language Arts Methods to AYA.
When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my family, doing my yoga practice, cooking a gourmet meal, working in my garden, dancing on a stage or a dance floor, or laughing with my friends . I live in Yellow Springs with my partner, two sons, two dogs, three horses, and two cats.
