Ohio Venture Capital Grant – 1995 to 2000 distinguished grant awarded from the Ohio Department of Education for $125,000. This five-year school improvement grant has been instrumental in our work of redefining our mission, developing our goals and working toward their accomplishment.

Ohio Arts Council  Grants – over twelve Arts Council grants have been awarded since 1993 allowing our students and staff the opportunity to integrate the arts into their curriculum with the support of national artists.

Ohio Department of Education Gifted and Talented Model Program – this award received in 1997 provided $15,000 in adaptive and portfolioBlue_Ribbon_Hair_11-99.jpg (69452 bytes) technology, multiple intelligence support and support of the arts.

Yellow Springs Endowment for Education – this community organization has supported multiple teacher-generated grants for the support of the educational program throughout many years. Grants received have helped to support our butterfly garden, digital editing system, after school book club for students, distance learning program with a local university and many more.

Culture Works – this award funded a $7,000 interdisciplinary arts and science program. 1997

Ohio Buckeye Book Award – this grant was awarded to our media specialist in 1997 for the creation of a professional library for staff and parents.

Dayton Art Institute Scholarships – students have been selected for participation after submitting art portfolios

School Climate Committee Award – this $20,000 district grant awarded in 1997 allowed us to contract a local university dean with an expertise in school climate work and character education.
