Mills Lawn third through sixth graders held a fundraising Basketball Shoot-a-thon to raise money for the family of a MLS student who is dealing with a serious illness. Students collected pledges for each shot they made. Students raised a total of $4700. (Read an article about this event in the Yellow Springs News.)
