Our Young's Jersey Dairy Udder Chaos entry
for 2002, Fifty Nifty Moo-nited
States,
was sold
at auction November 9 for $400. The proceeds benefit the Mills Lawn Art Department.
The cow was purchased by the
Antioch
Company, which has been Mills Lawn's sponsor for
three years of Udder Chaos. Artists were
students in the 5th and 5th/6th classes, and our art
teacher, who did the stars and stripes. As part of the
students' study of American History, each
student did research on a different state.
Students printed the state flag and they
each pasted their flag to the cow.
