Math Pentathlon

Mills Lawn students in grades 1-6 learn and play Math Pentathlon games as part of the ILE program throughout the year. In the spring, a team of Mills Lawn fourth graders attended the Greene County Math Pentathlon held at the Greene County Educational Service Center. One hundred students from around Greene County interact in this wonderful math sharing.  Students play games such as Contig 60 – a logic and computation game, Juggle – a visual spatial, logic and planning game, and Queens & Guards – a logic, reasoning, planning and strategy game.  Many new friends are made, and everyone has a great time exploring math!
