Media and Technology

Mills Lawn Elementary features an integrated media and technology program. Our library houses over seven thousand books, videos, and multimedia resources. Students come to our library weekly to share stories of all genres and to check out books. Our library also houses a computer lab to allow students to research topics and to work on classroom projects. Our media program includes a daily morning news show that is broadcast live each morning. Students are the anchors, camera workers, and weather reporters. Technology is also alive in every classroom. Students use word processors, spreadsheets, and various multimedia programs to demonstrate learning.
