Mystery Festival

Our students joined sixth graders from around the county for the Mystery Festival, sponsored by the Greene County Educational Service Center.

The festival was highlighted by a "crime scene" mystery for teams of students to analyze and study in an attempt to solve the mystery of a missing body. Students worked in small teams to conduct forensic science experiments to analyze evidence from the scene. Experiment results were used to make a hypothesis about the crime, the guilty party, and what had happened to the body. The teams presented their solutions and supporting evidence to the large group.
