The Quest for Immortality:
Treasures of Ancient Egypt
Dayton Art Institute
September 1, 2005 - January 3, 2006

Mills Lawn sixth graders visited the Dayton Art Institute's exhibition of The Quest for Immortality: Treasures of Ancient Egypt as part of their study of ancient civilizations.

The exhibit, which featured many items  from the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, focused on the ancient Egyptians' afterlife beliefs and ritual funerary practices.
