Fifth and Sixth Graders take "The Clifton Challenge"

Fifth and sixth grade students had the opportunity to participate in “The Clifton Challenge”, located at the 4-H Camp Clifton (Ohio) High Ropes and Low Initiatives Challenge Course.

Each grade spent an entire day working together in groups, in order to solve problems and achieve group goals. The students were accompanied by their teachers, as well as a trained and certified staff who facilitated all of the activities.

Through these activities the students learned the importance of teamwork, and worked at strengthening their skills of communication, listening, trust, cooperation, leadership, decision making, and risk taking. It was a great way to get to know one another and learn some important life skills.
