Kindergartners read The Tickleoctopus by Audrey and Don Wood. The end of the story suggests that the tickleoctopus no longer exists. The last page simply says "Or do they?"

Kindergartners answered this question by making their own tickleoctopus to hang up in the room. Students enjoyed gathering eight octopus legs to curl with a pencil or folding them accordion style.
