To celebrate the life and books of the late Virginia Hamilton, fifth and sixth graders created this beautiful paper quilt. Done in pastels, each square represents one of Ms. Hamilton's books or some aspect of her life, especially in Yellow Springs, where she grew up, raised her family, and lived for many years.
