education related, and have significant value to students, parents, and teachers." In recognizing our site the NEA said, " You folks have done a great job and not only provide your community with a
quality site, but are now providing schools throughout the country, and the whole Internet
for that matter, with a great example of what can be done."
In addition, our web site and school were featured in the
September 2001 edition of NEA Today magazine,
which is distributed to the organization's 2.6 million members.

was picked as a Wise Owl Site of the Month "in recognition of exemplary design and educational excellence." A
committee based in the Tampa Bay, Florida area reviews site submissions and selects one or
two sites each month, in an effort to recognize exemplary non-commercial educational
sites. Members of the committee include a science editor, a school librarian, an attorney,
and academic and public librarians.
