In recognizing our site the NEA said, " You folks have done a great job and not only provide your community with a quality site, but are now providing schools throughout the country, and the whole Internet for that matter, with a great example of what can be done."

In addition, our web site and school were featured in the September 2001 edition of NEA Today magazine, which is distributed to the organization's 2.6 million members.
 

Our web site is a "Best Bet for Educators" of  USA Today Education. We are the recipient of the Golden Web Award, presented by the International Association of Web Masters and Designers. The IAWMD has more than 200,000 members in 145 countries around the world. The Golden Web Award " is presented to those sites whose design, originality, and content have achieved levels of excellence deserving of recognition."
 

We were selected as the Cool School of the Week by gigglepotz.com , an international education portal for teachers, students, and parents. Our web site was picked as a Wise Owl Site of the Month "in recognition of exemplary design and educational excellence." A committee based in the Tampa Bay, Florida area reviews site submissions and selects one or two sites each month, in an effort to recognize exemplary non-commercial educational sites. Members of the committee include a science editor, a school librarian, an attorney, and academic and public librarians.
 

Our web site was selected by the editors of edunetconnect.com for their EduNET Choice Award, "which is bestowed upon sites that provide and maintain valuable educational content."
 

We are the recipient of the Teacher's Corner Award of Excellence for Education Web Sites, which recognizes "quality educational sites" that have content which is of interest and of use to teachers.
